So my aunt surprised me with all these, they were my uncles that has long since passed away. He purchased them when in vietnam, and we even found some of his doodles he’d done when in between the show over there.

That’s really cool. Uncles are somehow almost always interesting people. Be sure to run a roll of film through that OM-10. Pick up one of these to stick on the front:

The OM-10 is definitely the pick of this litter. Just look up any online tutorial on how to use manual focus, shutter speeds and f-stops. That’ll give you the basics.

My father has a bunch of old camera stuff (mostly Canon & Kodak, IIRC) from what I presume to be that era, probably still in an old box somewhere. Just looking at those pictures brings back old smells and sounds.

yeah, the papers definitely have that yellowed semi-soured smell

I switched back to film after I bought my D7000...I like the surprise of seeing what I shot (that I had forgotten about...)
